I’m Too Upset... I'm Mad. I Can't Hold This In!

Okay, I’m trying to sleep when this one issue is torturing my very fucking soul!

Now that Star Trek Online has made its console debut on the PS4 my mind drifts away from intense happiness towards soul crushing sadness...

I’m always thinking about the things I love on a daily basis but I’ve been deprived of something because of someone else’s greed. I’m talking about motherfucking Star Wars goddamn Battlefront piece of shit “EA” and Yes I’m Still Fucking Salty About This!!!

I’ve been a gamer all my life and as long as I can remember I’ve been playing Star Wars games or at least trying too anyway.

I’ve always had a Star Wars game to play: on the SNES I had the Super Star Wars trilogy, on the Nintendo 64 I had Rogue Squadron, on the Gamecube I had both Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike oh and side note the Rogue Squadron series is the main reason I got an N64 and an NGC to begin with but anyway on the PlayStation I had The Phantom Menace for what it’s worth, not to mention the X-wing and Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series’ and a few other games for PC I had but then came the PS2 and Battlefront I was so happy I could jizz out of my eye holes! And after that, things kept looking up with Battlefront II and on the PS3 the total awesomeness that was The Force Unleashed on the PS3 and the kinda okay but still awesome totally standalone DLC before it was cool that was The Force Unleashed II which suffers from the same problem as Battlefront EA.

So as you can see Star Wars in some form or another has been a part of my gaming experience for a long time now and like I said before I feel deprived of that now thanks to the fuckfest of suckage that is Star Wars Battlefront “EA” and no wonder it was never called Battlefront III  because even the developers knew this game didn’t even deserve the name Battlefront much less to carry the weight of its predecessors on its obviously broken shoulders. I would say that Battlefront EA is the No Man’s Sky of the franchise or even of all Star Wars games as a whole but at least No Man’s Sky is at worst an okay game certainly not what that little lying shithead Sean Murray said we were buying at full triple A price but still a mediocre indie game.

So yeah even No Man’s Sky is at least worth keeping in your library for what it is and hopefully, some of the more rage-inducing flaws get patched up but I’m digressing when I need to be sidequesting.

My point about why I hate Star Wars Battlefront “EA” so much is because like with what happened with Sean Murray we were promised the Battlefront experience for this generation of consoles, we were promised amazing gameplay, and we were promised the fun of having a Star Wars title for our PS4′s that we could be proud of and you wanna know what I was expecting? Worst case scenario we’d get a clone of Battlefield with a Star Wars coat of paint which would’ve made me cum bucket loads right there and best case scenario the best damn Star Wars game of my life.

Wanna know what we got instead? A PIECE OF SHIT!!!

A Piece of shit that was half built and half broken and nigh unplayable. I honestly played offline for over an hour and there was absolutely nothing compelling me to create an Origin account to play online.

Oh and don't get me started on fucking Origin piece of shit!

I hate this damn game so fucking much that I and my brother brought our copies to GameStop and got what money we could for them and it wasn’t much big surprise!

Disney, I can’t believe you’re letting Star Trek beat you like this! at least give me The Old Republic on PS4 or maybe actually make something I mean just before you got your greedy mouse mitts on the franchise Lucasarts were making Star Wars Attack Squadron which was being touted as the next X-wing game and I Fucking Love X-wing Games!!!

I am seriously disappointed and sorely disgusted with publishers thinking they can scam us with full priced half games and developers lying about features that don’t even exist in the games!

I feel much better now thank you so much for reading this little rant.

Quick Announcement

Okay, my current season of let’s play videos will be ending on September 22nd there will be unreleased videos that will be released as the forerunner of the next season to help even things out. I’m doing things differently this time I’m recording not just the next season but the next three seasons back to back then I’m gonna edit them and then I’m gonna upload them and finally I’m gonna schedule them and they should start premiering January 1st of 2017 so in a few months. Thanks for all the support and encouragement from you guys it’s been amazing!

Been A While

Well folks it's been a rough couple of months but I've been working very hard as much as possible on producing videos for my gaming channel(Arales Jump) on YouTube as well as planning the future development of new projects beginning next year so I am very excited.

I'm not announcing anything yet but I am so excited about what I'm planning so stay tuned.

Lately for now I'll keep you guys updated here as things develop.

Concerning Warcraft

Okay I recently tweeted at Blizzard Entertainment about why the original two Warcraft games aren't available on their storefront at Battle.net and they tweeted back basically saying that it's "unfortunate" but III is on there and no that's not good enough for me.

I mean they've got World of Warcraft and its latest expansion coming out, Overwatch too and I just recently saw the Warcraft movie yesterday as of writing this and I loved it! But anyhoo they still have Diablo I and II, StarCraft, and Warcraft III in their Classics section but why is Warcraft I and II left to abandonware they should've rereleased the first two games to prepare the fans of this beloved franchise for the movie we've all been waiting for.

If I was working at Blizzard this would be my vision for not just a rerelease but a total remaster of both games: both games would be rebuild together as Warcraft The Beginning. This would include six campaigns(two from Orcs and Humans, two from Tides of Darkness, and two from Beyond the Dark Portal) and include all new cinematic sequences that Blizzard is famous for. Keep the gameplay the same as the originals but maybe make it in 2.5D graphics maybe even on par with Warcraft III but still keeping the topdown camera making this idea a prequel to III. Going back to graphics for a moment give the player the option of choosing to play the game in all three styles(I, II, & TB) and also making this available on PC, console, and mobile too.

Anyway these are my thoughts on what Blizzard should do with their games and what I'd do if I was there.

A Message To Game Publishers

Okay you big idiots listen up! I'm sick of all the cash grabbing pieces of shit you morons are cranking out like a butch of money hungry zombies.

I'm here to tell you stop that stupid bullshit and tell you how to do it right! First of all a triple A title is a huge investment and should be treated with respect and releasing a half built piece of shit like Star Trek for example is both disrespectful to that game's legacy and disrespectful to us because we expect that if you slap a name like Star Trek or Star Wars for that matter that it should be playable and not a piece of garbage you package up in a pretty bow.

Second unless it's practically a second game's worth of content like in the old days don't give us useless DLC and expect us to pay a fortune for season passes!

Third and finally give developers the time and tools they need to make the games you so desperately wanna sell good again because if you do then you have my permission to rape my wallet!

The Future Of Gaming

Okay opinion/prediction time!

I feel the age of the gaming console and handheld is dead and the age of digital distribution is upon us. With the advent of Steam, GOG, and other indie platforms have proven that digital distribution is the way of the future I feel that Xbox should just think outside the box lol and go back to fully embracing the PC Master Race because let's face it PCs are in every home.

Let's also face it a year or two after launch consoles are already obsolete by new PCs and I'd rather buy a new PC every five or ten years than buy a console because PCs can do way more then consoles ever could we even have emulators to play older console games that we totally didn't get from a website between visits to Pornhub.

Thanks to the widening availability of the internet and computing power skyrocketing have made consoles largely a living fossil because back in the 1980s gaming went from large arcade machines to woodgrain thingamajigs you plug into your equally wood grain giant TVs with sadly tiny screens. I truly think Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony should just give up and join the PC Master Race and compete with the likes of Steam and GOG and more competition means the consumer benefits as well as keeping costs down for developers.

I'd love to see Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox desktop applications. That brings me to handhelds and with the advent of smart devices running on Android and iOS operating systems providing so much versatility compared to handhelds and often more power but that's analogous to consoles and computers. I'd love to see a Nintendo or PlayStation smartphone with their own OS' or maybe just Android and iOS apps. As for peripherals like controllers they can still make unique plug and play devices to use on their games.

Oh and I also forgot the indie console craze that totally failed I have a MOJO and I barely use it lol.

Gamers and developers and even publishers can only benefit from going all digital and officially ending the console era.
